Meet the Illustrator

Callista Stocksdale is the proud owner and illustrator of Stocksdale Scientific Illustrations. She studied illustration at both Northern Illinois University (NIU) and Academy of Art University (AAU). After completing her BFA in illustration at AAU, Callista will continue her training at Watt’s Atelier of the Arts, and work towards achieving a MS in biomedical illustration at one of the four accredited schools recommended by the Association of Medical Illustrators.

Callista has always been passionate about science, the natural world, and visual arts. She strives for perfection and precision in every piece to display the true beauty of both the natural world and the human body.
